Healthcare Facilities
The Children’s Medical Center of Dayton – is the region’s only Level II Pediatric Trauma and Emergency Center with a nationally recognized Regional Level III Newborn Intensive Care Unit. Dayton Children’s provides one of only 11 accredited pediatric cancer care programs housed inside a free-standing children’s hospital in the country.
The Dayton VA Medical Center – provides inpatient and outpatient services to veterans in southwestern Ohio and has implemented 21 initiatives to improve patient satisfaction from FY2007 – FY2009. Recent achievements include developing the Dayton VA/Department of Defense Transition Center and the Post-Deployment Operating Enduring Freedom/Operating Iraqi Freedom Clinic.
Grand Lake Health System- ranked in the top 1% in America according to the Premier Award for Quality. Grand Lake Health Systems has also received the American Heart Association’s Community Innovation Award and the Ohio Hospital Association’s Rural Health Promotion Award.

Wright-Patterson AFB Medical Center (WPMC) – one of only three medical centers in the United States Air Force. WPMC is the second largest Air Force medical teaching institution partnering with Wright State University and is one of the Air Force Medical Services’ major deployment platforms for Overseas Contingency Operations.
