NDC Technologies Moves Headquarters and Jobs from California to Ohio

During its 50-year existence, NDC Technologies has always had a clear vision for the future. That vision, which today includes simplifying operations and executing on its business plans in ways that best serve its customers, led to a decision in early 2017 to move its headquarters from Irwindale, California, to Huber Heights, Ohio, where it already had a manufacturing facility. The expansion decision brings 42 new jobs from California to the Dayton region in addition to the existing 73.

QQE Summit, LLC Moving Headquarters to Dayton, Expanding Production Facility

DAYTON—QQE Summit, LLC, announced Wednesday it will move its headquarters from Newark, California to Dayton, Ohio while expanding its manufacturing operations, creating 14 new jobs and investing $15.8 million in their local operations.

QQE manufactures solid quartz components used in the manufacturing process of semiconductors which enable modern technologies around the globe such as cell phones, computers and every other digital device used in our lives.

Airstream Credits Strong Growth to Ohio's Talented Workers

In February 2018, Airstream announced plans for its largest-ever plant expansion. The $40 million project will almost triple production space from 430,000 square feet to 1.05 million square feet and create 300 new jobs. It will allow the company to consolidate multiple production spaces into one facility, bringing the assembly of its travel trailers under one roof. It also will make more room to produce its touring coaches and growing line of other recreational vehicle products.

New Innovation Center Anchors Henny Penny’s Future Product Development

Henny Penny began construction on the largest expansion project in Henny Penny’s 62-year history in October for a 150,000 square-foot expansion to its Preble County manufacturing facility. The new space will add 70 jobs and house an Innovation Center for new product development, automation and innovation and expand the company’s manufacturing footprint.

New Facility Supports Cornerstone’s Commercialization Push

Cornerstone Research Group (CRG) announced a proposal to expand its current operations to a new facility while expecting to create 250 new jobs in the Dayton Region. The company’s expansion initiative would open new opportunities for a variety of high-skilled jobs in the Dayton Region including software developers, aerospace engineers, electrical engineers, composite engineers, chemists, and manufacturing personnel.

Crown Equipment Corporation’s Major Dayton Region Expansion Taking Shape

In October 2018, Crown Equipment Corporation announced plans for a new expansion. The $130 million expansion project will create 563 new jobs at multiple locations in the Dayton Region. Their expanded Ohio footprint will give the company additional assembly and manufacturing capacity, as well as expanded logistics capabilities, to fulfill the growing global demand for their product.
