We have a straightforward mission at the Dayton Development Coalition: To recruit, expand and retain jobs in the Dayton Region.
It's been a big month on the economic development front in the region! In partnership with JobsOhio and many of our local partners, over 1,700 jobs were committed, with an investment of more than $300 million on new facilities and expansion projects. The Dayton Region continues to grow!

PDAC is Seeking Project Submissions
The Dayton Region’s Priority Development & Advocacy Committee (PDAC) is currently seeking project submissions for the 2018-2019 prioritization process. Sponsoring organizations with projects that are community or government-oriented and benefit the people of the Dayton Region are eligible.
To submit your project, please complete the PDAC questionnaire, which can be found online at: https://www.daytonregion.com/form/pdac. All projects must be submitted by close of business on Friday, November 9, 2018.

Alex Nikolai, Project Coordinator for the DDC, traveled to Chicago, Illinois, to attend the IFT18 – A Matter of Science + Food.
"Justin Farmer and I met with several companies looking to expand their presence. A few of them were international companies wanting to establish a presence in the United States for the first time," Nikolai said.
