Community Details
Of Ohio's 88 counties, Clark County ranks 79th in expected health outcomes. This new center will not only spur economic impact for the city and county, but will create space and opportunities for our community’s children by offering training programs, coaching, and competitive sports programs including Police Athletic Leagues. This investment in youth sports can have long-term benefits for the community by fostering talent, promoting healthy lifestyles, and potentially leading to college scholarships or professional opportunities.
The Champion City Sports & Wellness center is projected to host 26 weekend events per year with the remaining 70% of venue usage allocated to local athletes, recreational leagues, high school teams, fitness & wellness programming, a walking track and other related amenities.
